Quality End of Life course success

Congratulations to staff from Galanos House Nursing Home, Bromson Hill Nursing Home, Cedar Lodge Nursing Home, Plan-It Home Care and Caremark, on completing the six-month Quality End of Life Care for All (QELCA©) programme.

The QELCA© programme was designed by St Christopher’s Hospice to enable and empower teams of health and social care practitioners from acute, community or care home settings to lead on the delivery of high quality care to patients and families at the end of life. Participants are encouraged to lead on sustainable changes and developments within their organisations.

Myton Hospice is a QELCA© satellite centre, and has delivered the course to acute hospitals previously. This was the first cohort from the care home and domiciliary care sector to complete the programme. A celebration event was held at Coventry Myton Hospice, to recognise the achievements of the participants.
