Social Care Providers Conference was a great event!
Thank you to all who came to this year’s Social Care Providers Conference, which was opened by Councillor Les Caborn, WCC’s Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care and Health, at the National Agricultural Centre.
It was a very successful day, giving providers the opportunity to network as well as gain information and ask questions.
Various stalls at the event were sharing information, including Skills for Care, Public Health, Citizen Advice, Assertive Technology and the Warwickshire Veterans Covenant.
There were also a variety of speakers and workshops presenting up to date information and changes across the health and social care sector.
Speakers covered subjects such as an update on Public Health, Digital NHS changes, STP updates, moving and handling, quality monitoring reports and much more.
Feedback from providers who attended the event included “I thought it was going to be boring, far from it – a very interesting and informative day” and “Good to see Health and Social Care coming together. Look forward to next year.”
Others commented “I wanted to attend all the workshops but had to choose, glad we are getting a copy of the PowerPoint” and “Great event, information stands really useful – even more would be great.”
