Make a change for Mental Health

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week, so there is no better time to show your support for better mental health!

Mental health problems can affect anyone, including care customers. One in four people will experience a mental illness at some point in their life.

Throughout the month of May, Warwickshire County Council is highlighting different areas where steps can be taken to improve well-being, maintain positive mental health or reduce experiences of low mood and stress.

A range of resources and services are available to provide help and support for those who need it. Find out more at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/mentalhealth.

Dementia is particularly prevalent among care customers – it affects one in 14 people over the age of 65 – and is a broad term used to describe a number of different conditions affecting the brain.

There is support available throughout Warwickshire for anyone concerned about dementia, currently living with dementia or caring for someone with dementia. Find out more at dementia.warwickshire.gov.uk.
